It’s Wednesday and this is the primary Spike Controller brought to you by the Dukascopy Forex TV Team.
Euro/Dollar’s spreads have averaged at a quarter of a pip over the last 24 hours, peaking at 1 and a half pips.
Last 24 hours have been bearish for the Euro as the pair has depreciated by a total of 1.17% or 131 pips.
No major spreads have been recorded and the max separation of only 1.5 pips took place yesterday at 3 PM GMT.
Pound/Dollar’s long term average and maximum spreads are 1.68 and 5.8 pips respectively.
The Cable has been on a sharp decline, dropping by a massive 3% or almost 400 pips to hit the low of 1 2797.
Despite the volatile rate movement, spreads have been mostly calm, peaking at 5.8 pips today at 2:06 in the morning.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has all three averages slightly above the point 4 pip mark. Max separation has been 4.3 pips and both of the sides were 2.6 pips apart during the last hour.
Buck has dropped against the Yen by 1.48% or 151 pips as the pair headed towards the 100 level.
Max spread of 4.3 pips took place today at 12:54 in the morning following a decline.
