Preliminary Japanese Machine Tool Orders for June are out at 6 o’clock in the morning. Despite an upward revision, orders remained well into the negative territory in May.
Italian Industrial Production stats for May will be available at 8 AM GMT. Production rose by a half a percent in April, after remaining flat in March.
Canadian Housing starts for June are up next at a quarter past noon GMT. Starts slowed down in May for third consecutive month after jumping to an upwardly revised 219 thousand in February.
UK Retail Sales Monitor for June is released shortly after 11 PM. Sales returned to the positive territory in May after two consecutive months in the red.
And wrapping up this rather short agenda is Australian NAB Business survey for June. Despite elevated business conditions, firms are reporting slightly lower levels of confidence. The confidence index eased 2 points to +3 in May.
