It’s time for Friday’s Economic Calendar. Here’s a closer look at the most important releases scheduled for the 11th of November.
Markets actually will be closed in France, Canada and the United States as the Armistice Day, Remembrance Day, and Veterans Day is observed, and the schedule is quite light.
The final reading of German October CPI is up first at 7 AM. The preliminary estimate suggests the annual inflation rate has remained at the same point 7% level it reached the previous month. It is the highest reading since May 2015.
UK Construction Output for September follows at half past 9. Output dropped in August, reversing a half a percent gain a month ago.
The closely watched University of Michigan Preliminary Consumer Confidence for November comes at 3 PM GMT. The preliminary estimate suggests the Index has dropped to a 12-month low, but some improvement is expected this time around.
And Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz will be speaking at the 20th Annual Conference of the Central Bank of Chile at 3:50. Loonie Dollar traders may want to keep an eye on this speech as it probably could provide some insights in the Bank’s future course of actions.
I’m Celeste Skinner and this was the Economic Calendar for Friday. Check back in for the next overview of news releases for Monday. Goodbye.
