This pair rose from the early low of 1 1232, gaining point 38% or 43 pips.
Spreads have been calm so far this week as the max separation has been just 1.1 pips.
Pound/Dollar’s long term average is 1.75 pips and peak spread has been 3.4 pips.
The Cable has been on a slide from the high of 1 4270, dropping by more than 1% or 155 pips.
Spreads were slightly elevated yesterday at 11:48 PM GMT, but 3.4 pips is the biggest separation you should have seen.
Wrapping up this report is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 43 and 1.5 pips respectively.
Start of this week has been bearish for this pair, it’s down by more than 1% or 117 pips.
No major spikes have been recorded and 1.5 pips is the most you should have been charged.
