Keep your broker on a short leash on this Tuesday by watching the Dukascopy Primary Spike Controller.
Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 23 pips and max separation of 1 and a half pips took place an hour ago.
Most of the last 24 hours have been calm for this pair and the biggest move is a rise of point 42% or 46 pips.
Spreads were slightly elevated today at 9 o’clock as German ZEW Survey was released, but the max separation has been only 1.5 pips.
The Cable’s daily average spread is 1.44 pips and both of the sides were 5.2 pips apart during the last 4 hours.
Pound/Dollar has dropped from the high of 1 3316 by slightly more than 1% or 144 pips.
UK CPI report sent the spreads higher today at 8:30 in the morning, but make sure your broker hasn’t charged you more than 5.2 pips.
And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 46 and 1.9 pips respectively.
Greenback has surged against the Yen by slightly more than 1% or 107 pips to reach the high of 106 34.
Last 24 hours have been relatively calm in terms of spreads, they haven’t exceeded 1.9 pips.
