You’re watching the Main Spike Controller for Thursday. Here’s an overview of the benchmark interbank price data.
Euro/Dollar’s long-term average reaches point 24 pips, and the daily peak of point 9 pips was posted within the last 4 hours.
Trading has been quite calm, and the daily volatility of just 57 pips was posted during a rise of point 52%.
Spreads peaked after 8:55 this morning, but even at their highest point they did not exceed just point 9 pips.
Next up is the Cable with the average long-term spread of 1.35 pips. Spreads peaked at 4.8 pips within the last 4 hours.
This pair went up early in the session, gaining more than 1% or 143 pips, although it has since declined from its highest point at 1 3276.
Several news releases from the United Kingdom were out at half past 8 this morning.
Both sides separated just as the data came out, but you should question anything much higher than 4.8 pips.
And Dollar/Yen’s spreads have averaged at point 46 pips within the last 24 hours. Once again, the daily max of 1.8 pips was reached during the last 4 hours.
The pair has had a very bearish morning, losing no less than 1.93% or 207 pips from its daily high at 107 49.
Spreads were at their highest after 8:34 this morning, but 1.8 pips is as high as they went.
That was the Primary Spike Controller for Thursday with me, Kiays Khalil. Stay tuned for the hourly updates.
