The trading week may be coming to an end, but don’t let your guard down and keep your broker accountable with the Main Spike Controller.
Euro/Dollar’s average and peak long-time spreads stand at point 26 and 2 pips, respectively.
This pair has seen a notable decline, losing 1.47% or 162 pips from its highest point at 1 1040.
The ECB Monetary Policy Statement was out at 11:45 AM yesterday, and spreads peaked at 2 pips just as the data came out.
Dollar/Pound’s long-term average is slightly more than 1 pip, whereas the daily max reaches 5.4 pips.
The Cable’s biggest move was a drop of point 59% or 73 pips, although it has seen some upward movement since.
Once again, spreads were at their highest as the ECB statement came out.
Spreads remained elevated for a number of ticks, so make sure you haven’t been charged more than 5.4 pips.
And Dollar/Yen’s spreads have averaged at point 4 pips over the last 24 hours, peaking at 2.2 pips.
This pair went up yesterday, gaining point 64% or 66 pips, but it has since declined from its highest point at 104 21.
Spreads were at their highest after 22 minutes past midnight, but they did not exceed 2.2 pips.
