29.11.2016 – Economic Calendar by Dukascopy

There’s plenty of potential market movers scheduled for Tuesday, the 29th of November. Let’s take a closer look.
UK Mortgage Approvals for October are up first at 9:30 AM. The number of approvals rebounded in September, having stood at 61 thousand for the past 2 months.
The highly anticipated German Preliminary CPI for November follows at 1 PM GMT. The annual inflation inched higher in October as energy costs fell at a slower pace.
The closely watched second estimate of US third quarter GDP is out at 1:30. The preliminary estimate puts the annualised quarterly growth at 2.9%, which is the highest level in 2 years.
Another high importance event comes at 3, namely, the US Consumer Confidence Index for November. The Index slipped in October, dropping to a 3-month low.
Japanese Preliminary Industrial Production for October will be available at 11:50 in the evening. Output has been growing for the past 2 months, although the preliminary September reading suggested stagnation.
New Zealand Business Confidence for November comes at midnight. The Index eased in October from the 17-month high reached in September.
UK GfK Consumer Confidence for November follows one minute later. The Index lost 2 points in October as weaker pond weighs on consumers.
A high importance event for Kiwi Dollar traders comes at 10 past midnight, when the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Governor Graeme Wheeler will be testifying on the Financial Stability Report before the Parliament Select Committee in Wellington.
Two news releases regarding the Australian economy in October are out at half past midnight, including Private Sector Credit. Credit has been growing at the same point 4% pace for the past 3 months.
Building Approvals posted their second consecutive monthly decline in September, having spiked by 12% in August.
And Japanese Housing Starts for October conclude the schedule at 5. September data surprised on the upside as housing starts grew at their fastest pace in more than a year.
